The Apostle Paul is strong. And unstoppable. He walks thousands of miles. He is driven by one goal: Tell everyone about Jesus, their new king. He allows nothing to get in his way.

Survive with him through all the shipwrecks, going days without food, a snow storm in the Taurus Mountains, being robbed on the highway. Listen as, each time his body is mercilessly attacked, he calls out, “Jesus! This is for you!”
Discover what makes this man tick. In this present-tense book, you will walk with him over twenty years of crisscrossing the often hostile Roman Empire, challenging pagan priests and trying to convince Jewish rabbis to listen to him. IN PRAISE OF PAUL: THE UNSTOPPABLE
* * * * * – Eugene Perry, Editor Emeritus, Gospel Herald Magazine, Beamsville, Ontario, Canada
The author of this lengthy, detailed and imaginative work on the life of the Apostle Paul has provided us with a very interesting and attention-grabbing read.
Paul is depicted as an athletic person whose physical fitness and determination to spread the message enable him to endure the unendurable. The cruel and repeated floggings at the hands of the leaders (rabbis) of the synagogue are described in gruesome detail. The reader wonders how the religious leaders could enjoy such treatment of a fellow man whose back already exposes the raw, unhealed flesh of previous vicious beatings.
As would be expected in a novel of this nature, many episodes and events are included to supplement the scripture story which provides the basis. These range from Paul’s loss of the beloved wife of his youth and their child at its birth; his actual presence and involvement at the crucifixion; details of rescues from many dangers and recoveries from abuses; through to his last days in Nero’s filthy prison. Details of his three years in the wilderness with Jesus are also provided.
The author has obviously done extensive research into the geography of the areas involved as well as the social, economic, religious and general customs of the cultures involved across the Roman Empire of the day. The story line details adventure, encounters, abuses and triumphs during twenty years of travels in mostly hostile environments.
The reader will experience these events with Paul and his companions and will come away with a renewed appreciation of the gospel message and the urgency of spreading it and a perception of what “drove” Paul.
* * * * * – Learned the rhythm of this author – Myrna
Now that I have the beat, the books in this series are being consumed Too quickly as always when they are enjoyed.
* * * * * – Highly recommend -biblical fiction made real – Rachel Helms
This book was an amazing read. It’s written in present tense, so you are able to fully engage yourself in the situation, and surround yourself with the characters in the moment. An embellished account of a real person, it triggers a desire to read more about the time, read more about these people, read more of the Bible.
The experiences of the characters in preaching and spreading the gospel all seem similar at a quick glance – yet, the author is able to pull out significant differences in thoughts, emotions, experiences, and unique people they meet along the way. You grow to know these people, these cities, and even the villainy of the time; and it’s shocking to have the reminder that these were all real people, real happenings.
These historic figures aren’t just old stories, people to look up to as paragons of virtue. They are incredibly real, with emotions, and regular wants and needs. You get so lost in the stories of their lives, you lose track of time.
I highly recommend this book and this author. This was the second book by this author I’ve read, and it was even better than the first. She has a unique writing style that makes the characters very relatable, and historic time period made relevant.
* * * * * – Each one better than the last – Cleo Wise
I just finished reading, Paul: the Unstoppable. It is the fifth book by this author I have read, each one better than the last. Paul: the Unstoppable is a very good read. The story is written in the first person, therefore, one gets the feel of being in the first century, walking the dusty roads with Paul and his companions. You feel like you are there when Paul preaches a powerful sermon or converts and baptizes someone. One can almost hear Paul, timothy, and other devout Christians shouting from steps leading to some idol temple ” You do not want to worship a goddess made of stone, she is nothing, come worship the only true God.”
You experience the emotional and physical pain Paul endured as he was beaten over and over and Paul’s determination to preach the gospel to the whole world, You worry right along with Paul’s companions that he will be killed.
This book is so much more than I can describe in a few words. Read it for yourself it is amazing. I recommend this book and this author, her writing is outstanding/
* * * * * – Committed to God – Lori Wooten
This historical novel about the life of the Apostle Paul makes the biblical book of Acts literally come off the pages. We were studying the book of Acts in Bible Class at the time, and it gave one visual impressions of what life was or could have been like in that day. The hatred, and even contempt the religious leaders of that time had a new way of life. Even though they knew the prophecies about the coming Messiah, the leaders being afraid they would lose their positions in life, refused to accept it.
It shows the hardships just from getting from one town to another, not to mention the persecutions and numerous beatings Paul endured. On the other hand, the book portrays the love and concern for each other that true followers have. But most of all, the book shows the lifelong commitment Paul had to tell the greatest story ever told.
* * * * * – Great book – Amazon Customer
This book is written in such a way that you feel you are right there following along on Paul’s journey. The details are incredible, the research must have taken months. Great book
* * * * * – This book humbled me – Tina Lawrence
What a terrific book. I did not want it to end. When I learned more about the Apostle Paul’s suffering, but with such a heart for Jesus, I was deeply humbled. Especially when I am such a baby about everything not quite right in my life. I have asked God to forgive me. And I have asked Him to instill in me a greater love for Him, and a greater faith in Him. I am smiling, because I know He will, especially as I look to His blessed indwelling Holy Spirit who will do just that.
I want to tell all my Christian brothers and sisters that I pray for you daily to get as close to our heavenly Father as you can. There is nothing like spending time in His presence and being able to share with Him, everything on your heart. Amazing that this God, the only God, awesome God, looks forward to spending that time with us, little man. Thank You Lord Jesus for reconciling mankind to the Father. I took another hard look at prayer. If Jesus prayed for us, how much more should we be praying for one another. Let’s do it! God bless all of you.
* * * * * – I liked it. – Paul Smith
I really enjoyed Paul The Unstoppable. I found that I have a better appreciation for Paul the man as well as Paul the Apostle from reading this book. It was very well researched and well written. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a better appreciation of the Epistles of Paul and the Book of Acts. While I do not consider everything contained in it as the Gospel, it does give me a deeper understanding of Paul.

* * * * * – Enlightened – Kindle Customer
Very good book on Paul’s life. Good to read more details of his life and of his suffering in trying to teach about Jesus. Disappointed that Paul’s death was left out.
* * * * * – Get to know Paul – Vintage Butterfly
Very interesting & indepth view of Paul’s life I ended with a fresher view of his ministry.
* * * * * – Wow, oh Wow. Take a journey with the incredible Apostle Paul – Chris Solaas
Saul the Pharisee was an up-and-coming zealot whose thirst for religious excellence led him to the Sanhedrin. But the unlikely and dangerous prophet Jesus of Nazareth threatened everything he was working for, and questioned the very ideals Saul upheld. Saul worked to see the man put to death, expecting that would be the end of the story. But it was only the beginning.
Travel with Saul on a journey to destroy this new sect following Jesus, and experience with him the 180 he took on the road to Damascus, as Jesus gives him a wake-up call he would never forget. Saul’s new task is to spread the gospel to the ends of the world, and no one ever took that task more seriously. Nothing stopped him, not stoning, being beaten half to death, receiving 49 lashes repeatedly, threat of sword or shipwreck, nakedness and starvation.
This tome chronicles Paul’s life from shortly before the crucifixion, to his last days in a Roman dungeon. I spent a significant amount of time fact-checking, and found only one thing that didn’t line up with scripture. Even that would be open to conjecture. Paul’s adventures as he shares the gospel around the known world is simply amazing. I was brought to tears by the remorse and shock Paul went through when he found out he was wrong about Jesus, and Erastus who nailed Him to the cross, when he came to faith. So many places in this story where I wept with the saints over joy or sorrow, and raged over the horrible treatment of the Christians, and Paul in particular, by those opposed to the Christian faith.
Violence: PG-13
This story starts out with a brutal boxing match, and chronicles stonings, bludgeonings, floggings, and crucifixions. By the end of his life, after five floggings of 49 lashes each, Paul’s back is nothing but scar tissue and muscle tissue. The physician Luke treats him for many of his varied injuries and punishments, and some of the treatments, and descriptions of his injuries, are graphic. Nero torching the Christians to light his amphitheater is discussed briefly.
Drug Content:
PG – Opiates are used to treat Paul, and alcohol is consumed with relative frequency, but it’s often referred to as ‘new wine’, which may mean grape juice.
Christian content:
This book is the story of the apostle Paul’s conversion and life as an evangelist. It covers his missionary journeys, and clearly presents the gospel message in countless places. Much of the epistle content of the New Testament is condensed and presented. All books of the New Testament attributed to Paul or Luke are discussed and depicted. Spiritual warfare and demon possession are covered. Spiritual gifts are depicted well.
Final analysis:
The book was immersive, gripping, moving. It captured Paul’s unbelievable tenacity and determination, and the people around him and their struggles and triumphs very well. No doubt this work of ‘fiction and non-fiction’ would make an incredible addition to the library of a biblical scholar. The work transported the reader deeply into the culture of the first century and the trials Paul faced in getting the Word out to the known world. Five Stars!

***** – This writer made you experience what the Apostle Paul must … Wanda Dunnagan
This writer made you experience what the Apostal Paul must have went thru in his ministry. You read in the Bible about the many beatings he went thru and you forget it, but the author made it real to you. I will always think differently now when I read these scriptures. Thank you Katheryn Haddad.
