Northern Lights Publishing House was founded in Rochester, MI, in 1991.  Since then, we have published 70 books — a little over two books a year.

Oh, and me?  Here is a brief biography and my latest picture.

        Katheryn Maddox Haddad grew up in northern USA and now lives in India where she doesn’t have to shovel sunshine. She basks in 100-degree weather with banana trees, monkeys, and a computer with most of the letters worn off.
        Besides the US and India, she has lived in four other countries ~ Korea, Canada, Afghanistan, and Abu Dhabi, and has made short visits to Tokyo and Sri Lanka.
        With a bachelor’s degree in English, Bible and social science from Harding University and part of a master’s degree in Bible from the Harding Graduate School of Theology (including Greek), she also has a master’s degree in human relations from Abilene Christian University.
        She spends half her day writing and the other half teaching English over the internet worldwide using the Bible as a text book. She has taught nearly 10,000 Muslims over 15 years in the Middle East. Students she has converted to Christianity are in hiding in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Palestine. “They are my heroes,” she declares.
        Currently, she also teaches Bible history at the MH School of Theology in Punadipadu, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh, India.
        She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers, the American Historical Association, World History Association, World Archaeological College, Association of Ancient Historians, and Archaeological Research Institute.
        Oh, and for her next birthday, she plans to ride an elephant.

    I was not aware that you were located in Casa Grande and with the church on Racine. My friends, Vance and Wynona Garrett, there date back a number of years.t has been I have visited there several times and preached there on 2 or three occasions. It has been 3 or4 years ago that I spoke for Vance’s memorial service. He was one of my dearest friends.
    I was happy to find your website. Last fall I moved from North Valley Church of Christ in Cave Creek to Nacogdoches, Texas. I am looking forward to reading your poems and exploring some of your extensive work that I viewed in your web page. Charles R. Milner, crmilner@aol.com

    1. Life seems full of coincidences. I was widowed last November. Since then, Wynona and I sit together at church. She lost her daughter Linda suddenly a couple weeks ago. It was a real shock, and Wynona is coping the best she can. She is a real gem. Yes, we all miss Vance. I hope my writings will be an encouragement to you and yours.
