Surprise of the Day

Jesus became depressed sometimes. 

Besides the obvious occasion in the Garden of Gethsemane, there were other times.

 Matthew 14:13, 23  –  Mark 3:20-21 & 31  –  Mark 6:31-35  –  Luke 9:22 & 31  –  John 6:26-71

Fact of the Day

1-When Jesus heard about cousin John the Baptist being beheaded, he tried to go someplace to be alone.

2-People were crowding in on him so much, he couldn’t eat.  So his family came to rescue him, then he got in a boat and went to a secluded place.

3-After telling his 12 he was going to be killed soon, he was transfigured while praying. Moses and Elijah came to him and talked about his death.

4-He fed 5000 miraculously, and the next day he told them they just wanted him for his free bread.  When he said HE was the bread of life; many stopped following him. Then he asked his 12, “Do you want to leave me too?”
