Always a Prince, Never a King

Fact of the Day 

Jesus was the crown prince in the Old Testament

• Isaiah 9:6: The Messiah is called the “Prince of Peace”
• Daniel 8:25: The Messiah is called the “Prince of princes”

Satan has no royal title in the Old Testament.

In the New Testament, Satan is now a crown prince. 

In the New Testament, Satan is

• Matthew 9:34:  Prince of Demons
• John 14:30:  Prince of  this world
• Ephesians 2:2:  Prince of principalities of the air 

But he will never be king.   Why?  Prince Satan was defeated by Jesus at the cross.

And now, Jesus has inherited the throne and become the King over all kings.
