SPECIAL NOTE: 

Study Book 1 provides the history of the Jews in the Old Testament era covering some estimated 4,000 years.  Intermingled with the history, I insert writings of any prophet or poet that lived at specific times during that history.

If you do not have a working knowledge of the New Testament (the Christian era begun by Jesus), I suggest you begin with the New Testament, then come back to this book. What you learn here will have richer meaning to you after you understand the New Testament.
