Love Letters of Jesus & His Bride, Ecclesia

Love Letters of Jesus & his Bride, Eccelsia-THUMBNAILThe Song of Songs, written by King Solomon, is a love story between this man and his bride.   Nearly 500 scripture footnotes show how this song overflows with the symbolism of Jesus Christ and his love for his Bride, his Church, his Ecclesia

It begins with “His Proposal” (Prologue) ~ how Satan held her captive and how Jesus paid the terrible blood ransom for her and broke her out of the dark pit where she had been chained.

Come along with me now in this expansion of the greatest love story in the history of heaven and earth.

Look over their shoulder at their love letters, beginning with the time he finds her in the clutches of Satan and pays the terrible blood ransom to free her. He takes her to their Garden and they fall even more in love. Then on to the times she wanders away and he follows her to bring her back to him. Their story ends with Ecclesia desperately calling to him, “Come, Lord Jesus!” He replies, “I am coming soon!”

That, indeed, is what our Lord is calling out to us today. He is coming!  Soon he is coming!

Since, in each chapter,  the bride and groom always seem to be losing or looking for each other, the author made each chapter a love letter.  Also, each chapter of this book coincides with the same chapter number in the Song of Songs.

Some of the archaic expressions of beauty that used to be acceptable in general society in 1611 King James’s day have been toned down.  This is not a translation so much as it is a transliteration.

There are nearly 500 footnotes comparing the bride, Ecclesia, to the church, the bride of Christ. This is a long-neglected Bible study book.  It is also a wedding or anniversary gift book with its beautiful Papyrus font and watermark of a bride on each page.
