Dear Parent and Grandparent. This book has the crucifixion of Jesus in it. I have toned it down considerably. For example, instead of going into details of the torture, I just said “Jesus hurt”. You will notice the cover emphasizes Jesus coming back to life instead of the usual crucifixion scenes. I do believe young children should know Jesus died for them even though they may not understand death very well. Part of his story is the triumph and coming back to life. If you feel comfortable allowing your child to have book 7 in my A CHILD’S LIFE F CHRIST series, I welcome you. And I promise to treat your child gently.
