Elizabeth, John the Baptist’s mother was shy.

Oh, and Mary stayed with her long enough to see Elisabeth’s miracle baby born.

Fact of the Day

The word “seclusion” is translated from the Greek word meaning “hidden”.  

And yes, Mary arrived at Elizabeth’s house in time to help the “old lady” through the last part of her pregnancy.  Surely during that time Elizabeth gave Mary courage to return home to face possible stoning for being pregnant out of wedlock, and faith God would not let it happen.
