Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes in his old age, a broken man.

Fact of the Day 

Solomon began to lose his way when he began marrying pagan women. But eventually, he realized all was vanity except centering one’s life around God.  By the time he “came to his senses” he described his broken physical condition by then.
