Judges 1:19-31

Fact Of the Day

No!

  • *The tribe of Judah did not drive out all the Amalekites from their territory (Judges 1:19)
  • *The tribe of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites from their territory (Judges 1:21
  • *The tribe of Manasseh did not drive out the Canaanites from their territory (Judges 1:27-28)
  • *The tribe of Ephraim did not drive out the Canaanites from their territory (Judges 1:29)
  • *The tribe of Zebulun did not drive out the Canaanites from their territory (Judges 1:30)
  • *The tribe of Asher did not drive out the Canaanites from their territory (Judges 1:31)
  • *The tribe of Naphtali did not drive out the Canaanites from their territory (Judges 1:32-33)

WHY?  Because the Jews began worshiping their gods.  Most were gods of power (often worshiped by child sacrifice (legalized child killing)  and goddesses of fertility, worshipped with temple priestesses (legalized prostitution).
